If the tank is rusting internally, that usually means replacement rather than repair, and your technician will walk through the options before any work starts.

Tankless water heaters

Tankless units heat water on demand rather than storing it. They take up less space, last longer on average, and can reduce energy use for households that do not use hot water continuously. Abacus installs tankless systems from all major manufacturers and handles gas line work when a conversion from tank to tankless requires it (Gas line licence M-20628).

Maintenance and warranties

Annual flushing and anode-rod inspection extend the life of any water heater by years. Abacus offers a VIP Maintenance program that covers yearly checks. Lifetime warranties are available on new water heater installations, covering parts and labor for as long as you own the home.
